lyrics
Way way way too high, I might die, oh my
Flip around, check the price on a human computation
All these wishes for some reason I don't know why
Broken witches telling tales in bumblebee sky
Telling me all these things and I don't even try
Couple times I thought you were important
You're talking now I think it's boring
Way way way too nice, I might cry
Flip around, pay the price, I think we're on the wrong station
All these wishes for some reason I don't know why
Broken witches telling tales in bumblebee sky
Telling me all these things and I don't even try
I don't think I've ever felt like crying
I don't know why you weren't invited
You told me once I don't think you're trying
Send it back, you know it's rehash
Words are cheap but we're all out
Strings break, foundations collapse
Make it easiest on yourself
I haven't listened to and analyzed/ felt this album enough to have a wholly formed opinion on it yet. For me, mixing like this leads to vocals and music blending together in an almost lyric-less way; till I read them, I have no idea what's going on here. But I do love the overall theme, feeling and - the interludes on 4 & 9 set a lovely tone. It's dreamlike and melancholic in a way; hopeful, but not optimistic, rather countered with sadness. That's the feeling I get. It does speak to me, ch. sleepy_foxie
